Merry and Bright Lights provides holiday lighting design, installation, and removal services. By engaging our services, you agree to the scope and pricing as outlined in your estimate or contract.

  1. Estimates and Payments

  • Estimates: All estimates provided are based on the information you provide. Additional charges may apply if there are changes to the scope of the project or unforeseen conditions.
  • Payments: Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. We may require a deposit prior to starting the installation, with the remaining balance due upon completion. Invoices must be paid within the stated terms to avoid late fees.

  1. Installation and Takedown

  • Installation Timing: We will schedule your lighting installation based on availability and weather conditions. Installations are conducted safely and professionally using energy-efficient LED lights.
  • Takedown Services: After the holiday season, we will remove your lights and store them upon request. We aim to perform takedown services promptly, though schedules may vary based on weather or demand.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule your service, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made after this period may result in forfeiture of any deposits paid.
  • Refunds: Refunds are only available in cases where the service has not been rendered as agreed and attempts to rectify the issue have failed. Refunds will not be issued for completed installations.

  1. Liability

  • Damage: Merry and Bright Lights is not responsible for any pre-existing damage to your property. We take great care during installation and takedown, but any damage caused directly by our negligence will be repaired at no additional cost to you.
  • Weather Conditions: We are not liable for any damage caused by severe weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, storms, or snow accumulation, once installation is complete.
  • Personal Injury: You agree to assume responsibility for any risks associated with the installation, such as falls or trips, and to ensure the area is safe for our team to work.

  1. Warranty

We guarantee that our lighting installations will be free of defects in workmanship for the duration of the holiday season. If any issues arise, we will repair or replace faulty lights within 24 hours. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or weather events.

  1. Use of Website

  • Content Ownership: All content, including text, images, and designs on our website, is the property of Merry and Bright Lights. You may not copy or use this content without our written permission.
  • Third-Party Links: Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these sites.

  1. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend services if you fail to comply with these terms or if we are unable to perform the services due to circumstances beyond our control.
